Mary-Ellen Reilly, what can I say: I have had the pleasure of seeing her as an up and coming dancer, and now I get to see her as dance studio owner, a business owner, and above all, a good friend. I have grown to admire, respect and love her more especially in the past ten years by watching her love and dedication to her studio as well as the faculty, students and their parents. She is not only a remarkable teacher, but she can still bust a move! Unselfishly, she tries to improve the quality of dance and the performing arts in the Connecticut area. She has opened her studio to top-caliber dance teachers and choreographers from New York City and all over the country to continually educate her students and performers from the surrounding communities. Her students grow up with her, graduate from the studio, and succeed in other dance companies and opportunities all over the world. Her students never forget where they began, and always come home to Dance 10. Dance 10 is one of the best and favorite studios to conduct workshops. I look forward to the next 25 years. Keep up the great work, Mary-Ellen! I Love You! Frank Hatchett
Children than learn to balance the development of the MIND, BODY and SPIRIT are at an advantage to meet life's challenges head on. We found this conveniently packaged at Dance 10! I brought my babies (all four) to Dance 10 and watched them leap into the incredible people they are today. Monica(24)kept the scoliosis at bay and continues her stretches to keep her muscle tone, Antonio(20) graduated from tumbling to hip-hop and agilely represents Tulane's Capoeira Group, Gianna (18) learned self confidence (though sometimes overly played now). Elisa (22)found a home at Dance 10 that channeled her energies, taught her the language of movement and poise. Elisa danced when she learned to walk and has successfully stepped forward (with one hand always at rest on the barre). From Wethersfield High School Dance Team to Western New England University choreographer she still gets homesick, for Dance 10. Our sincerest Congratulations on 25 (already?!) amazing years Gina & Tony Carbone, Wethersfield
I have only been at Dance 10 for 7 years so far...I say "so far" because even though I've now graduated, I know I'll be back. I'll be taking classes and assisting Mary Ellen and Misty, whether it is in class, at a performance, or at our recital. The past 7 years have shown me a passion for dance I didn't know I had. I learned not only how to dance with proper technique but how to be expressive through dance, making a lot more than just a sting of steps and eight counts.
Dance 10 has everything to offer. There are the weekly classes where I found myself nearly early day, at home with others who were just as eager to get into the studio as I was. The teachers of these classes always expect our best and encouraged me to see my own potential as a dancer and as a person. There is also the more demanding area of competitive dance. Competing is a challenge, it teaches you to accept and apply constructive criticism and to work harder than you've ever worked at something.
The beauty of Dance 10 (and the best part in my opinion) is that you can go for fun, to take class and better yourself as a dancer, or you can push yourself in competition. Both areas exist together and you can choose to be part of one or both of them. I threw myself in to everything Dance 10 had to offer and I found myself a better, stronger, happier person because of it. I owe so much to the people - both students and teachers - who I shared my experiences with......thank you.

Our older daughter is beginning her 13th year of dance at Dance 10 and our younger daughter, her 7th. The enthusiasm, patience and expertise of the instructors have encouraged an interest in dance to become a passion for dance. Mary Ellen Reilly has the ability to recognize the potential in each dancer and to support them in achieving their personal goals all the while making it fun!
