Classes consist of warm ups, progressions, combinations, and technical training including pirouettes, turns, and leaps.
Attire- Black jazz pants, tights, leotard (any color), and split sole black jazz shoe (no dance sneaker please)
Tap
Using rhythmic and percussive movement to create various sounds with feet. Classes consist of warm ups, combinations, and building upon the basic techniques including flaps, shuffles, riffs, etc.
Attire- Black jazz pants, leotard (any color), and flat black tap shoes
Ballet
Classes are taught using a combination of the Cecchetti and Vaganova methods and techniques, ages 7 and up.
Attire- Solid color leotard (any style), pink ballet tights, and pink ballet shoes
Lyrical
The fusion of ballet and jazz technique interpreting music or words through expression from the inner emotion. Done in a flowing or continuous pattern using a technique base that determines the correct placement of body angles.
Attire- Stirrup or footless tights, leotard, and suntan jazz slip ons
Modern
Classes build on the basics; release, fall, suspension of movement, and making full use of weight and gravity. Many of the lines are abstract in nature, not symmetrical or in a perfect form.
Attire- Black jazz pants, fitted shirt or leotard, no shoes needed
Turns, Leaps, & Jumps (TLJ)
Classes consist of strengthening and stretching with a concentration on technical training.
Attire- Black jazz pants, fitted shirt or leotard, and black jazz shoe
Hip Hop
Very fast moving classes consist of strengthening, cardio and the latest dance moves.
Attire- Dance sneakers, comfortable warm ups or athletic dance clothes
Acro
Classes consist of stretching, strengthening, basic to advanced tumbling, and tumbling skills.
Attire- Leotards, shorts, jazz pants, no shoes needed
Kindergarten
Classes consist of an introduction to basic motor skills, learning fundamentals and positions, ages 5 &6
Attire- Ballet: Leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes Jazz/Tap: leotard (any color), black tap shoes, black jazz shoes
Pre-School and Tiny Tots
Classes consist of Tap/ballet rhythmic exercises, strengthening exercises, and tapping into child’s creativity, ages 3 and 4
Attire- Leotard, tights, (skirts optional), black tap shoes, and pink ballet shoes
Adult Classes
Classes for adults include Jazz, Ballet, Conditioning, and Mommy and Me.
Attire- comfortable clothes you can move in and appropriate footwear
