Welcome to Dance 10

Welcome!

Dance 10 was founded in 1986 with the hopes and dreams of creating a studio that not only taught proper dance training and technique but helped to create strong, confident young people. The studio started in the American Legion in September of 1986 with a grand total of 35 students our first year. Over the years, the studio has grown and continues to grow at our home on 5 Hillcrest Avenue.

I believe we have set a high standard with our professional staff of teachers who continue to study and perform professionally. Over the years, we have seen many Master Classes with well known artists, traveled to Mexico, Florida and to the Bahamas to mention a few. We have had many parties, birthdays, and holidays, and many hours of dance, dance, dance. I have seen our students grow from toddlers to talented, intelligent young adults. Dance 10 has become a home for many a aspiring young dancers. It gives me great joy to celebrate our 19th year and look forward to many more.

Helpful Hints To Make This A Successful Year

-We try to get all important information to parents by either posting on the waiting room bulletin board, by sending notices home with the dancer, or by posting on the web site. Please be sure to check the web site, bulletin boards, and your child’s dance bag often so as not to miss any important updates.

-With a permanent marker, place dancers name on all items i.e. shoes, bags, clothing, etc. If you lose it, we find it and names help us to get items back to their rightful owners.

-Please have the proper attire for your class and ensure that hair is up. (Hair nets are your bun’s best friends)

-Account statements are not sent out. Please check your payment plans for due dates. All costume fees are due November 1.

-Dancers should bring a water bottle with them. The store does sell water, Gatorade, and some snacks available for sale.

-Please pick up a copy of the Dance 10 handbook for a complete listing of studio policies.
